NB Linen is not included!! $15 extra per person, per stay, if you require towels, top and bottom sheets and pillowcases. Please advise when booking or text Jill on 0272080026 if linen is required. Because Ellstone is a big house a minimum of 4 guests for $350 (excludes all Bookabach fees) is a requirement. You are welcome to Text the number above for more information. 15% discount for 7 days or more. Home away from Home! A private sunroom with pullout couch, plus another pullout sofa bed in kitchen/family area make up sleeping arrangements for large numbers. ELLSTONE is a spacious farm house with all the comforts of home offering 3 ensuite rooms and 3 living areas, 2 log fires, plus heat pump. Private outdoor Spa (only onlookers sheep, or cattle) and large sunny decks. Exhale, and do nothing! Peace and beauty abound on this 900 acre sheep and cattle farm. Beautiful views of rural Wairarapa from the top of gentle rolling hills. A great walk .A short drive to Vineyards, Restaurants, Golf Course and Brackenridge. 4km drive from the Square. Tea and Coffee is included, plus sugar, flour salt,pepper, but all other food and drink needs to be brought with you.
Ellstone is an operating farm, activity can sometimes be operating closeby, and the private self contained attached flat may be occupied, by Louise, our Caretaker. Your privacy is assured, she will ensure your personal space.
Please leave the property and spa as found. A pet must have it’s own bed and be supervised at all times please

Good Place for large Groups
We stayed with 12 people for the weekend and the place was a great size and close to Martinborough for the group. There were a few issues such as some broken glass in the lawn, hearing rats in the wall most of the night, the spa pool being different than pictured (more inflatable than a standard permanent spa pool that it looks like a photo is taken from in the listing), and not having quite the right amount of bedding after paying for it separately. Also got asked after our stay if we had taken 20 dinner plates when the host just hadn't checked the other cupboard where there is a note saying it's where extra plates were stored, which was a bit odd not to check first. None of which affected our ability to have a good time, cook nice food in the kitchen, and enjoy the space. Really convenient location for enjoying what Martinborough has to offer.

Relaxing Weekend Away
Had a lovely time with friends at this property. Weather was terrible, so we spent lots of time by the cozy fire, and managed a quick dip in the hot-tub. Loved seeing the lambs in the front paddock - on a sunny warm day the deck would be beautiful. A short drive to town and wineries, but also a lovely spot to read a book, take in the view, and enjoy some time away.

Sitting on the covered deck, in the sun watching the lambs playing, was bliss. Very comfortable home, although has some quirks that come with older properties, but very well set up. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wedding to attend and found this place far enough away to enjoy the country but close enough to go to town square. Lovely roomie house to got large groups. You were almost out of dishwasher powder and toilet paper so did have to buy some more. Will definately stay again.

Great place to stay with lots of room for everyone. We had a lovely time. Our only comment is we didn't realise we would be feeding the cats living in the house. The kids loved it and one cat was super friendly but woke us up a few times at night . Great place to stay if you love cats. All considered we recommend this house for a quiet and peaceful stay in the country. The spa was a bonus.
