"This place was perfect. Spectacular views of the tuscan hills and gorgeous sunsets. Breakfast and dinner was also delicious. Perfect location for day trips to Florence, Sienna and Pisa."

"The whole family loved our spacious and well equipped apartment in a beautiful setting with far reaching views. The generous welcome box of essentials was a lovely surprise, as was the delicious bottle of wine. Enjoyed al fresco dining in our own garden area and the kiddies play equipment was much appreciated - as was the fabulous swimming pool. Drive into San Gimignano took just 8 minutes along delightful country road."

"We needed a place to stay in or near Vinci for the night before our 3 week stay in a nearby villa began. Il Piastrino looked lovely and was VERY well priced. And it was exceptionally nice—from the spacious, charming rooms (surprise—we had a kitchen), the delicious breakfast, to the warm and welcoming staff. We arrived very late toward the end of a busy pris fixe am fresco dinner service but we were settled in and set at ease. And yes, we returned a few days later for the al fresco dining. Wow....

"This is the sweetest place we have ever stayed. We did not want to leave. Stefania is amazing. She got us reservations at the perfect restaurant up the hill. She is wonderful to work with. The bed was incredibly comfortable which is so important. The back yard is perfect for watching the sunset. The views are as advertised. Thank you, Stefania for making our time so memorable."

"Property is beautiful! Actually picture perfect, with a good breakfast, and great value for the price . The best part is your staying on a winery and you can even smell the grapes fermenting. A great experience! The town Certaldo is so cute , we had a car and explored all around. I really recommend Maestrini Auto for a car rental in town. Recommend this hotel we loved it. "

"Lovely 2 bedroom apartment with kitchenette that was perfect for our family of four. Resort pool was incredible. Large pool, great for laps or lounging with views of montecarlo. "

"A nice stay, but at the price point I was expecting that little more. Lovely room, nice food and friendly staff. Swimming pool had a maintenance issue so was unheated for the three days/ 2 nights of our stay. The heated pool was the main reason I chose this villa rather than other properties in the area. The artist residence programme sounded like a great idea but was fully booked the first day and sadly the person due to do the workshop was ill the second day and their workshop was...

"Our villa was very clean, equipped with important necessities; we were in the ground level villa so we were able to have a car park outside our villa. We were not able to get breakfast but they amazing offers for breakfast and can deliver to your villa. The reception is different property which is about 8-10 min drive not so convenient but the staff are very helpful and very accommodating. "An amazing and relaxing stay. Great place. Staff were accommodating. Alfredo and Melissa were lovely. The rooms were clean and tidy. Had everything you needed and short drives to lovely parts of Tuscany. The homemade olive oil and wine were also a highlight. "

"We stayed in one of Giulio and Marco’s new apartments for a week and had a fantastic time. The amenities, pool, olive groves and sunsets are beautiful. It was easy to get to Pisa and Lucca (20 min) each. Giulio was extremely generous with his time, giving us a detailed tour of the farm and explaining how he is planning to increase biodiversity. Both he and Marco also provided lots of helpful tips on making the most of the area. Definitely recommend!"
