"What a wonderful stay. Room absolutely gorgeous and with everything you could require even a fridge. Wide range of hot beverages to choose from. So clean and warm. The hotel restaurant was amazing, from the food to the wonderful friendly staff. Really liked the open fires and real Christmas trees made it very special. "

"If you would like to experience living in a 400 year old cottage, with many original features, surrounded by so much beauty and peacefulness, then this is the place for you! I cannot recommend it enough. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by hens and cats. We were then shown to our ‘living area’, bathroom and upstairs - a double bed and bunk beds. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. There were so many extras included - books, binoculars, tea/coffee/hot chocolate/fresh...

"A lovely house with welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. Very comfortable room with well-equipped “private bathroom” nearby (a very minor whinge is that en suite would have been nice). Great individually tailored breakfasts to set us up for the day. Location is in easy walking distance from the town and several good walks. Free parking right outside. 10/10"

Horsey paintings added to the ambience as racehorses trotted by the window! Soothing and relaxing! Breakfast was the best ever in a b n b. Hostess Sharon made us feel like friends. "Another wonderful stay at Stow House - a beautiful boutique hotel in the Yorkshire Dales. We stay in the Cowboy room - wonderful room with roll top bath and heaps of space, with fantastic views over the Dales! We keep returning due to the great hospitality… this will be our 4th stay and we will be back! Breakfast delicious. Decor is cool & stylish. Artwork on the walls. Lots of books. Honesty bar & cocktail hour with homemade cocktails from the Savoy cocktail book, kindly served in the bar...
