"We have stayed here a few times and always been welcomed by friendly staff, enjoyed a meal in the bar and been up too early to try breakfast. Food is the usual pub menu, beer excellently kept. Staying on our way back too so might get to try breakfast next week! Only slight thing we found the emergency light in the bedroom a bit brighter than we would like when trying to get to sleep but there isn't much to be done about that as it would be useful if needed in an emergency "

"The is a lovely little in, ideal for a short stop-over. The staff in the pub were extremely welcoming, it has a great atmosphere, and the food was outstanding. The only down side is, the room I stayed in is next to a commercial site which has bright spotlights, this means that even with the curtains closed the room wasn't overly dark. Also the bed wasn't that comfortable, so I didn't sleep very well. Overall a pleasant stay, and possibly somewhere I would consider for a future stay."

"The Litton seemed to befuddle our GPS system but we eventually found it, and were very happy we did. It is nestled on a hill I think in so far as you have to walk down quite a few stairs to enter the bar and registration area, which consists of a laptop sitting on the end of the bar. Very friendly and very pleasant was the gentleman who happily assured us that our three rooms had been successfully registered and he escorted us through the web of stairs and alleys to each of our rooms…and they...

"Excellent secluded spot outside and overlooking Cheddar, out in wide open fields within a minute and up to the gorge in about 15. Rustic, cosy little house with all the essentials and a stocked wood burner. Friendly host and dogs! Also had a small milk in the fridged stocked when we arrived which was a nice touch. 2 single beds might not be up all couples' streets, but well worth it otherwise. "
