"Overall we enjoyed our trip and this was supported by good accommodation at the villa. The villa manager was very accessible which made things easier for us, we arrived later in the evening and had to pay a late check in fee which I believe should not be compulsory. I had to deal with a few issues regarding our second payment for the villa which should have been taken on the same card as used for the deposit 3 0 days prior to arriving. "We stayed over Easter. Villa was fantastic. Great size rooms, well equipped and the pool and hot tub were perfect. Recommend paying to have the pool heated outside of summer time.Would definitely stay again"

"The stay was good but with some remarks: - some fourniture is outdated (chairs in kitchen and sofa ouside are worn out) - very bad smell in the washing room - you need a car for visiting the city (more than 30 minutes of walk) all issues and problems were solved quickly by the support and service team - very good communication"

"We had a great stay at Janelo do Mar. The villa is in a great location near restaurants and a short drive to beautiful beaches. We had a few issues which Isabel did her best to sort out. One point I would raise is the lack of lighting by the BBQ area. We were only a family of 4 so could eat during the evening at the small table outside the villa overlooking the pool but we couldn’t see to BBQ! "Vila Balaia is an oasis of tranquility. We were 2 families that spent 6/4 nights there in March, and the experience was outstanding. Claudia was very friendly and accommodating with our early check-in, she bought us some bread, milk and oranges as a welcome gift, which was very appreciated. "Such a spacious and cozy villa! We were welcomed by Carolina who already started a fire in the cool weather. We did some hiking and lots of walking, cooked a couple of meals. Such a relaxing spot, thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the howling wind and rain storm one night. Beautiful area to explore!"

"A lovely hotel with friendly & helpful staff. Large studio apartment. Everywhere is kept clean. Breakfast selection is limited, although fine for me. Maintenance work continued on main pool so this was closed. People put towels to reserve sunbeds which would be frustrating at high season. 20 min walk into Vilamoura which was further than we’d thought but an easy walk, so not a problem for us. What a view!!!!

"We booked a comfort double sea view room and were ever glad we did! What a view. The room was renovated and looked beautiful. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom did not get renovated and was dated. It really didn’t go with the room but the view solved any doubts we had. The breakfast was excellent. Location was phenomenal and did I mention the view? We used Bolt to get to around in addition to walking You definitely stay here again. "

"From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted by a lovely gentleman who checked us in. He provided us with local information about restaurants and made some wonderful recommendations. All of the staff at reception and housekeeping made sure we were comfortable and well looked after. The hotel has a relaxing rooftop area although we didn't use the pool due to weather conditions. The rooms and bathrooms are cosy and well kept. "
