"The property is first class. Everything was as advertised or better. Our contact (owner) was quick to respond when we had questions and kept us updated with status when the internet when down temporarily. While the property was first class, the road to the property was quite the opposite. Good thing we had an all wheel drive / 4 wheel drive vehicle. Would like to have spent more time on the island. Note to self: Plan for longer vacation. Will use VRBO again. "

"We loved our stay at this amazing house! The location is near many beaches, activities, restaurants and shopping. You will need a car to get around and the roads can be rocky and winding. Plus they drive on the left so that may be a big adjustment for you. The house is comfortable and the veranda is a great place to relax after a busy day of activities. "My husband and I stayed for a week during the T20 World Cup. We were greeted by Esther who was an excellent hostess. The house was even more beautiful than the listing. The views of Pigeon Island and the sunsets were magnificent. We snorkelled everyday right off the backyard. Waters were calm and clear with lots of marine life. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. If I return to St Lucia, we will definitely stay here again. And did I mention that Esther is awesome!!!’"

"House n propety is good. The beach is a short walk away. The road to get to the house is rough so higher car is recommended. The hostesses is awesome n very nice to work with."

"Although the property was a little difficult to find the property manager and her local contacts were fantastic and went out of their way to help us. The property is wonderful and offers a fantastic view. Can't say enough about the locals and their generosity! Thanks for making our trip wonderful and memorable!"

"If you are thinking about renting this property, definitely do it. It is so clean & beautiful. More amenities than any place we have ever stayed. It is so close to many restaurants & shopping, grocery just around the corner. It has security there all night. Felt very safe. Just a beautiful setting, definitely enjoyed it. St. Lucia is such a tourist friendly place. Loved it!"

"The setting of the property was stellar. The pool was perfect! Couldn't get my wife out of it. The kitchen was adequate. The bedroom is the only room with air conditioning. The toilet had a problem with leaking out the bottom seal. Manager responded quickly with a plumber that said that he couldn't fix it with us there. Real bummer. The property had odors at times and when I checked I saw that the septic tank has drain lines that are not underground, just draining down the property. Overall the...

"My family and I had a great time. Our host was friendly and provided excellent information about local attractions like the drive-in volcano. The villa exceeded our expectations - it was spotless with beautiful decor, spacious rooms, and very comfortable beds. Even the polite neighbors and electrical outlets impressed us. "We enjoyed our stay. Staff was most agreeable and few repairs done quickly. Our deck overlooked the common pool and there were nice plantings. Resort is many independent buildings snuggled in around the pool so no view to the sea. Beds were comfortable, linens were not the softest. This is not the place to cook as there is only one pan and one frying pan , no kitchen knives or tools. Coffee for room and restaurant is instant only. There is a small coffee pot and micro, gas stove and tea pot....

"We stayed for 2 weeks at My Trailblaizer. The experience was excellent in all aspects. “Jones” was a wonderful and friendly owner/manager of the property. He checked in regularly to see if we needed anything and to enquire how things were going. He even arranged to have our laundry done for use on the second week. "Had an amazing time here. A little away from the beach but there is a shuttle which is free. If you wish to go anywhere you have to use taxi Drivers are lovely and very helpful. Last night dinner not so good as another party there refilling of food very slow. Bedroom was great as was air conditioning. Lovely cleaners. Pools fab as was help yourself bar. A good was from international airport and trip can be hard if you’re in a minibus. "

Windjammer Landing Resort and Residences

"We had a wonderful time at the Windjammer. The resort is beautiful as was our villa. The staff were friendly and accommodating, from the waiters and waitresses to the shuttle drivers. A special shout out to Cora at the beach bar (96 degrees)! She is everything you want in a bartender. She remembered what we were drinking and what villa # we were in. Not a small feat with the amount of people she was servicing. My wife had a massage and she said it was one of the best she has ever had. I believe the masseuse’s name was Shana. If we have to find fault it would be on the activities. Not the staff but the promotion of the activities and the length of them. They had a Caribbean Night dinner that we happened to stumble upon. No one we talked to later in the evening had any idea it was being held. Glad we happened upon it because it had some really good food! Overall would recommend and would definitely go back! "
