Yosemite/Mariposa Mountain Get-a-way
Very clean and well maintained cottage surrounded by nature's beauty with tall pines, oak trees, and mountain streams, and only 34 miles to Yosemite National Park, and 26 miles to Bass Lake. Watch the deer come in to feed in the morning and evening. Our cottage is secluded for privacy and an optimum mountain get-a-way experience. We also have many other animals for you to enjoy, including miniature donkeys, emus, turtles, sheep and water buffalo. We can give you a tour of the area and of all our animals, or you can have your privacy and enjoy the beauty around you, whichever you prefer. Either way, it will be a stay you will never forget!

The owner, Wade Gibson, was very gracious and warmly welcomed us, giving us a tour of the place. We enjoyed the quietness and privacy of the cottage, and its surrounding natural beauty.
This property was exactly as described. It was very relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the whole place was very clean. Everyone enjoyed the animals. The owners were very friendly.

This was one of the best family vacations we have had. Becky and Wade are really great people. Wade gave us an awesome tour of the property and animals. My children really enjoyed getting to know the animals on the property. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here because of the friendly and comfortable environment!
Excellent base for anything this area has to offer
We absolutely loved Becky's & Wade's farm cottage - and the farm critters wandering around made it very special. We will particularly miss Sally the Pyrenees, Harry (hairy) the Highland steer, and the little donkeys. Thanks so much for sharing your special place with us!
This place did not disappoint. As others had mentioned, we were met with a group of goats and donkeys and our boys (age 11 and 6) just lit up. They absolutely fell in love with the cats too. It was fun walking the property with my boys before heading off to bed. The hosts here are amazing and were so gracious and helpful during our stay. This place had everything we needed and more. The only complaint is we didn't have enough time! We visited Yosemite but stopped to see Bass Lake on our way home and now I wish we could have stayed one more night to spend time there too. On our way to Yosemite, there were a lot of deer right on the road as we left the house. Such a beautiful location. Thank you!
Cute roomy farmhouse with a bunch of furry friends
The house was clean, roomy, and well stocked. The animals on the property were an absolute treat, so friendly and calm. We were greeted by a little goat welcoming party as soon as we opened the car door XD and the sweetest cats and donkeys followed us everywhere we went on the property. Would highly recommend if you want a nice, peaceful stay and like animals.
We loved our stay in this cottage. Not that far from Yosemite and loved the animals in the property. Wade was kind enough to give us a tour of the property and the surrounding area. Will stay here again if we visit Yosemite in future.
We stayed here for a few days while visiting Yosemite. As others have mentioned, it is about an hour to an hour and a half to the park entrances from here, but it is a beautiful and easy drive. Honestly I think my kids enjoyed being on this farm with the animals as much as they enjoyed Yosemite! As we got in the car to leave my 12-year-old thanked me for finding this spot. Definitely recommend!!
2nd time staying at the farm! Always a fun experience!
This was my family’s second time staying here and it was as wonderful as the first! My 4 kids absolutely loved all the animals especially the baby goats & donkeys. The cabin had plenty of space for all 6 of us and offered a quiet area to relax and sleep after many days at Yosemite. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking essentials for all your needs. It was also really great to have a washer and dryer for all our dirty hiking clothes. It is a convenient home base to drive to either the El Portal or Wamama entrance of Yosemite National Park. The town of Mariposa is a quick drive from the cabin for groceries, cute shops, & restaurants. We will definitely return again!
The hosts were great and met us shortly after our arrival. We were visiting Yosemite and it was an easy drive to the park. After a long day we enjoyed the quiet and relaxing in the cabin. We’ll stocked and clean cabin!
Wade and Becky’s cottage was plenty spacious for our family of six and was a pleasant place to rest following a day of hiking at Yosemite. Located in a rural area with many delightful types of animals on the premises- to the delight of us all! We enjoyed Wade’s ATV tour of his farm as well as the meet and greet with several of his many farm “pets.” It never occurred to us that water buffalos could be pets. We visited Yosemite daily four days in a row and from this cottage to the floor of the Yosemite Valley took us 90 minutes each way, just FYI we enjoyed our stay and recommend it. Would love to come back!.

Beautiful property with lot of farm animals in and around. Quiet stay for a wonderful getaway!
Staying at the cottage was such a treat! We were greeted by sheep wandering up the road as we were driving in. Pulled down the lane toward the cottage and there is a group of little pigs, a big horn bull, goats upon goats (Minnie, the baby goat was our fav), a horse, dogs, rabbits… my kids were in heaven. Not only that, the hosts were amazing, and so patient, answering all my boys questions, and taking us on a tour of their ranch, as well as the surrounding area. It’s a beautiful and peaceful place to be, and we would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for an amazing stay!
Very responsive and friendly hosts. We loved all the animals and how relaxed and private the atmosphere was. The place was clean, the kitchen well equipped for daily cooking. Highly recommend!
My husband and I stayed there for our anniversary so we would be close to Yosemite. Check in was easy, the place was clean and had almost everything we needed and the owner was helpful with getting firewood for us and talking to us about the adorable animals on the property. I loved our time them and hope to be back in the future.
Our stay at this property was everything we could’ve wanted and more. It’s amazing when your expectations are exceeded. The house itself is very spacious, clean, and cozy. The property is close enough to surrounding towns and still offers remote privacy. The owners were very helpful and are very nice which goes a long way. Thanks again:)
We’ve enjoyed Becky and Wade’s hospitality very much! Our girls (1 and 4) were delighted to play with a bale of hay, and even got to pet a baby goat. The host family was friendly and generous with their time showing us around. The cottage was kept impeccably clean and the layout is pleasant for families. We drove to Yosemite to play in the snow and the drive was too long for us. The farm is a worthy destination, and one can hike the property and explore.
Becky and Wade’s Triangle Park Cottage was perfect for our weekend trip to Yosemite. The property itself was in a beautiful setting and the small hill covered in snow was awesome for the kids to go sledding on. The house is spacious and has everything you need to feel at home. Sally the dog, the animals in the barn and Wade’s tour of the property were real treats! We would love to come back again. Thanks so much for everything!
This was perfect for us! 20 minutes from town, within an hour from Yosemite!
Just remote enough for the kids, we were greeted by a friendly dog, and seen off by a barn cat! Keyless entry and very clean and roomy! The owner replied promptly and answered questions before arrival, and although my phone did not have service there is a land line in the cottage, and wifi. Perfect !
