"Our stay was great. The cabin was cute and comfortable. Very quiet area with a great view. The host was very prompt in responding to our two very minor questions about the lock and more wood for the stove. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The only thing I would say is the kitchen pots and pans are very minimal. So if you are like us and cook most meals I would recommend bringing what you need pan wise. All in all a nice relaxing weekend away. "

"If you want to unplug and have a secluded location, this is definitely the cabin you need. I had requested central air but found out too late that there is only a window AC unit in the dining area. But the nights were fairly cool and with the fan I brought I was very comfortable. Mattresses, furniture and carpet were all old but we didn’t spend a lot of time at the cabin so we only used it a little. But being a pet friendly cabin, I didn’t expect it to be newly renovated."

We enjoyed fishing and boating on Lake Mitchell and exploring the nearby trails. The location balanced relaxation and adventure, and the hosts were great. "This beautiful clean cottage on the lake was absolutely perfect. We've been fortunate enough to have stayed at many nice places in the past, and this place ranks right up with the best of them. Our grandkids spent some time with us and there was so much to do! Games, disk golf, basketball, pool table, the list goes on and on- we all hung out on the deck and used the grill.
