"We stayed here for a week during the first week of July and had a wonderful time in this beautiful secluded chatel set in the mountains above Morzine. This was our 4th trip to the area in summertime but our first time that we hadn't stayed in an apartment. We decided to push the boat out a little this time and it was well worth it. "We spent 3 weeks here and loved every minute of it. There's a lot of room with a proper well fitted kitchen which we much appreciated because we mostly cook for ourselves. However La Chapelle has a number of really good restaurants so every now and then we had an evening off and ate out. The uninterupted view from the main living room is the Cret Beni, which is so beautiful. We plan to return next year, if by then the two camp beds in second bedroom have been replaced it would take the score...

"The chalet/lodge is on the road from morzine to avoriaz just after the last hair pin bend, tucked in the loop of the bend.Parking for 2 cars just outside front door.The ski slope is just off the corner of the bend, with the slope leading down to the super morzine lift. But due to the snow conditions, we elected to drive 5 mins up the road towards Avoriaz to the free parking by the Seraussaix farm, under the lift with same name.
