"We love this house on the beach. It's the only place directly on the beach in the town. One door opens onto the main street, the other onto the beach. You can go to dinner barefoot to a dozen or so restaurants with tables on the sand. This was our second stay here, and we hope to come back."

From the luminous lit pool, mini gazebo area, to the open house layout, to say the property is beautiful would be an understatement. "It's a nice house, and the Haitian staff is very friendly and helpful. But be aware that a big apartment complex is being built next door, with trucks and caterpillars starting to rumble around shortly after 7 in the morning. You should also know that the dirt road leading to the property can be difficult to pass with a regular vehicle after heavy rain."

"Estrella del Norte was just that. An amazing stay, the villa was in great condition. Nina was beyond fantastic with her service and her cooking. She went above and beyond for everything. We would def stay here again. I do suggest that if you go in the wetter or colder month to have a 4x4 vehicle as the roads are not the best and the location of the house has a few steep slopes. "Our stay, although short, was very nice at Castillo Romano. Theo and Morena made sure to welcome me and my family with open arms. Morena is an amazing cook and very friendly. Don Theo is the best! He helped us with anything we needed in the house and even gave us good advise for our trip to El Salto Del Limón. The castle is well kept and has amazing views. If ever back in the Terrenas with my huge family, I’ll be sure to book again!"

"Communication was excellent and Stephanie and staff provided us with all the comforts for a wonderful vacation. A short walk to the beach provided us with lots of beach time and restaurants in Las Terrenas are plentiful. I especially recommend the Italian restaurant in the Spanish plaza and the French bakery! And if you don’t feel like going out I recommend downloading the Komida app and ordering in. They are super fast and reliable. Thank you for a great vacation!"

"The house was beautiful, the location was perfect and the staff that checked us in and out were helpful and kind. Only cons were that the electric bill was kind of high and the cost is not based on the current exchange rate. The hot tub isn’t hot, so it’s running and you’re paying the electric but who wants to get in a cold tub? Also, the linens, towels and pillows could stand to be replaced. Still things things would not deter me from going back, just helpful to be aware of these things...

"This villa is perfect for a few days in the heart of Las Terrenas. It's just tucked away enough that you can get a solid night of undisturbed sleep but close enough that you can easily walk to anywhere in town in a few minutes. The manager was very responsive and helpful. Just bear in mind that you aren't going to get anything fixed on a Sunday in the DR. We had a bit of a clogged drain in the shower, it wasn't a big deal in the end, so that doesn't impact my rating at all. The villa is comfy...
