"One night’s stay at Fattoria for me, my husband and our 17 year old. The hotel is geared up for a family who love their activities - a full timetable of events, football, tennis, a mini farm and 3 pools. The main pool area was lovely, with a well-stocked pool bar. "Breakfast was good and the waitresses were very polite. But!! If you want to relax, do not come here! There are armies of a very vocal retailers and screaming children everywhere! I dislike it profoundly. Rooms are tiny and congested (The sink in the room was broken, but was fixed later). A few minute before of the opening of the outside pool, the army of retirees who are NOT staying in the hotel arrive and occupy all of the chairs. While the guests of the hotel can not get to the pool...

"We enjoyed staying here. It was very relaxing. However, we were asked to pay extra at checkout for “bianchieri” (white things, meaning towels and sheets). This was not in the terms for this hotel and we were not asked if we need them or informed in advance about the additional charge. I thought it was rather tacky to ask for that at the end of a pleasant stay. I refused to pay it and the staff did not insist but it left a bad taste in my mouth after an otherwise lovely stay. "
