"The place had a great view. Bed was super comfortable, good wifi. The owners were very sweet and helpful. I was even able to book transport with their help. "There is a building site across the road from La Maison Hibiscus. There are a lot of dogs in the immediate vicinity who bark noisily for extended periods. The windows don't shut properly because the metal bars on the inside block the handles from being moved to the closed position. The hot water tank is very small resulting in all but the briefest of showers running cold. The air conditioning was ineffective, blowing warm air. Even when left on overnight it did not get within 5 degrees Celsius...

"We liked that we were able to get this place at a good price for nine nights. It is perfectly located with many shops and restaurants around, and it is walking distance to the bus stop. The Anse Royale beach is a 5-minute walk. We took the bus twice but it was stressful, and so we decided to drive to the west side of the island.
