"The place had a great view. Bed was super comfortable, good wifi. The owners were very sweet and helpful. I was even able to book transport with their help. The beach is a short walk and there is a little mini market right next to it. I was also able to walk to the couple restaurants and the Rum distillery. Definitely great value here."

"There is a building site across the road from La Maison Hibiscus. There are a lot of dogs in the immediate vicinity who bark noisily for extended periods. The windows don't shut properly because the metal bars on the inside block the handles from being moved to the closed position. The hot water tank is very small resulting in all but the briefest of showers running cold. The air conditioning was ineffective, blowing warm air. Even when left on overnight it did not get within 5 degrees Celsius...

"We love our stay in Mer Riviere, is a very nice place, very safe, comfortable and close to the beach (walking distance). Nadia the property owner/administrator was super attentive and friendly. "The apartment is stunning, the Eden Island is such a lovely place. Riding around on golf carts is such a pleasure. Ronan’s communication is perfect and we met this lovely man. Don’t forget to use the club house, which is run by a lovely South African lady. Try the local bus into Victoria such great value. The local supermarket is very expensive however outside of Eden they are fine. You’ll enjoy your stay here."

"We liked that we were able to get this place at a good price for nine nights. It is perfectly located with many shops and restaurants around, and it is walking distance to the bus stop. The Anse Royale beach is a 5-minute walk. We took the bus twice but it was stressful, and so we decided to drive to the west side of the island.
