"La Rustica is a large, quaint. comfortable villa, wirh a large fenced garden and an above ground pool ( not heated). It has many large rooms with antique decoration. Very characterfull.Comfortable beds with A/C in bed rooms. Lovely covered outdoor seating area where we spent most of our time. But the highlight was Maurizio!! What a gentleman. The place and its surroundings allowed us a restful and pleasant respite from our busier daytrips. "Villa Montelisi is now part of our family history. Everything about our stay was wonderful. Our host Lavinia made check in easy even though we arrived late. The villa with its old world charm, high ceilings, and amazing views overwhelmed us. "We were a family group of 15 ranging in age from 20 to 92. We used the pool every day. Laughed at the clothes dryer because they have the same kind in Portugal where we vacationed. Many people walked into Camucia and enjoyed the restaurants grocery stores etc. Several of us have been to Italy before my first time in Assisi but we shared experiences with them.
