"This is a lovely apartment, well laid out, clean, in a small block with a little pool to share (albeit slightly chilly). The beach is just over the road and the sea was gorgeous to swim in. Staying here you are just 5 minutes from Jordans supermarket, 5 minutes from Il Tempio and 5 minutes from QP Bistro. You have the bonus of the Bikini Beach Bar over the road with a discount for their sun loungers if that's your thinig. If you want more choices then the bus stop is right outside. We...

"We had a fantastic 9 days in this gorgeous well equipped apartment in St James. Anything you could possibly need is available and the location is perfect. Hiring a car is essential and the brilliant Maria is always on hand to help and advise. Kimberly does a great job of keeping the place looking perfect and is such a lovely lady. We will certainly return here and would highly recommend. "

"We cannot say enough about the communication, cleanliness inside and out of our lovely condo. The view was breathtaking. Always clean chairs and umbrellas to use and a sparkling pool. The location was so convenient. We would return again someday. Thank you to the cleaning staff, Cyrus and owner for making our stay so comfortable, just like home. The condo had everything anyone would need, thank you for providing comfy beds, lots of towels and a well equipped kitchen. "

"This was one of our best stays ever!! Communication with Richard was always very clear and prompt. Check in was very easy. We arrived a bit early than the set time, but Volney was already there waiting for us. The house is very well equipped. It is so nice not to have to worry about buying toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing soap, coffee filters, laundry soap. Another nice touch is that shampoo conditioner and soap are provided. New mattresses and pillows were installed during our stay....

"The property is nice. The resort needs to provide ear plugs for their clients due to the noise of the tree frogs. Because of the way the building was designed, the tree frogs made an echo sound from sun set to sun rise. Other than that the resort has everything, restaurants, pools, bid and small and beach right on the premises."

"Wow!! We had an amazing week at The Soco. The hospitality, the staff, the food was amazing. Each room had a sea view and is equipped for all you need on an AI stay. The location was ideal for us, the hotel is at the of the boardwalk so you could chose to either drink and eat at the hotel or visit one of the bars and restaurants along the front. Which means you can have a quiet or louder night depending on your mood. The food at the hotel was excellent so we had no issues eating most meals at the hotel. The service was top level and the staff (and general manger) went above and beyond to make our stay the best experience. Some people have mentioned the road noise in the reviews- yes you can hear the road as the hotel is on the main coast road, but this never bothered us and we slept so well! The hotel is boutique with only 24rooms (approx) so the staff get to know you and your preferences and the bartenders knew what drinks to make without us asking LOL In summary - my husband and I have a policy to never stay in the same place or hotel twice as we think the world is too small to repeat a visit - but we would stay at The Soco in Barbados again and already thinking about another visit never year- for us that is top marks!!"

"The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was amazing with a wide variety for vegetarians. The beach that the hotel is located on is beautiful, the water is so blue and clear. Overall an excellent stay, we would highly recommend Sugar Bay. "

"Very friendly front desk reception and bellmen. We so appreciated the visitor lounge to change to go to beach prior to room being ready. Equally convenient after check out , we used the showers before leaving to airport. A wonderful plus! We fully enjoyed the restaurants on site. Great value and delicious!"
