"Fantastic hotel in an amazing area! Late afternoon I walked up the hill to the castle and walked by peacocks….yep…peacocks!, vineyards, olive trees and horses. The hotel staff were truly wonderful- everyone was friendly and helpful. The restaraunts was delicious. All of the food is locally sourced and our wine was from a vineyard 5 minutes away. Sad we only had a 1 day stay on our way to Venice. On my list to return to this area and would 100% stay here again."

"A cheap option within walking distance of Verona train station. It’s an old but functional hotel and our room was clean. The area outside isn’t very nice for walking (a few homeless people hanging around) but the hotel has a car park so driving is an option. Also if you are coming from a big city you’ll be used to this - it’s just not the image I had in my head of Verona (opera & posh restaurants serving truffles and good wine was more my expectation)"

"The staff were really friendly at the hotel and resolved an incorrect room allocation with no issue. Rooms and food were nice and the hotel had a good vibe about it. The only thing I did not like about the hotel is the fact that I had to pay to use the pool on a weekend. It seemed to me there was no one checking other guests after I had paid. It made me feel that some had not paid and were using it for free. The rest of the stay was perfect. "

"I loved staying at this hotel. Two staff members stood out - Patrick (front desk) and Lucia (dining staff). They were polite, professional, and very good at their jobs! The only disappointing thing was the dinner. It appeared to be very disorganized, a couple of dining the staff were confused on our order and brought out an appetizer with the other persons main meal then wouldn’t bring out my meal because my dining partner had waited for my main meal to be served. My last comment is, it’s an international group and much of the dining staff did not speak English at all, which was very difficult for me and other guest, who did not speak Italian, but spoke English, French, Danish, Dutch, and so forth."
