"There is a lot of great wildlife on the property as it is right beside Xcaret. Having two private entrances to Xcaret is great as it takes many days to fully appreciate everything in Xcaret. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Lunch and breakfast food selection options were great. Dinner selections were very varied. For the most part the property is kept very clean but could do better job picking up cans and glasses around the pool areas at the end of each day as you found the odd ones still around the next morning. The bartenders are not very good making the fancy cocktails as they should be made but they do not skimp on alcohol. Service in the al la carte restaurants was not consistent but upon request they were responsive. This was our 3rd time at this hotel and overall we would return again."

"The food selection wasn’t very large, but the dishes they cooked were absolutely delicious. Even though there weren’t many options, every dish was tasty, and you could feel the care they put into it. The staff were incredibly friendly. Being right by the sea made it perfect for snorkeling and having fun all day long. The only inconvenience was that the Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room. "

"Some of the property maintenance was a little overdue. Our room had a closet door issue and the doors wouldn't stay on the track. The AC smelled of mildew. The toilet ran unless we jiggled the handle. The bathroom faucet handle had one particular spot where you could get it to stop running. Everyone that worked here made up for what the building was lacking. All servers and hosts were gracious and accommodating. I hope we go back, just to see the staff again! Bottomless margaritas and the beautiful Caribbean! Thank you, Jaime for being a lovely host in the restaurant. "

"The Westins breakfast buffet was great and had a wide variety of hot and cold selections including an omelette bar, continental type selections, and most other common breakfast selections as well as a few types local culinary specialties "
