"I was charged a smoking fee off £140. However I do not smoke. I was very dissatisfied and will make sure to tell all my friends and family never to stay there again. This has not only caused me financial stress but has also caused me to be very upset as the staff are lying about a smoking fee and would not help me any further. "

"Airport hotel convenient for a layover. Shuttle (GBP 6) is only running once an hour, so I chose public transport, which is available, if you can walk your luggage and yourself the 300 or so yards on either bookend of the journey, manage the few steps, etc. For myself, no problem, but when I travel with my elderly mother, I will use a taxi instead. This is untrue and breaches the trades description legislation The property has a shared kitchen with no privacy in it. "Reasonable for Reading, while basic in decor it is what you can expect for the price, the staff are all really friendly and helpful to a fault. Always stay here as it represents value in my opinion, great parking and easy access to the town. 20 mins to the centre."

"The first property we had was clean but had some drainage issues, we spoke to staff that were helpful and friendly and they promptly moved us to another lodge. All the area is very clean and tidy, i love the mini play areas in each section and all the lego models around the walking areas. The lodges are lovely inside "

"It’s a beautiful hotel. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. It’s a perfect location for Windsor town centre and for going across the river to Eton. The Brasserie served a lovely breakfast and you can have a riverside view too. The staff were very helpful and did everything you’d want them to. Will definitely stay again. "

"Lovely old building, very interesting design, beautiful large hall inside with wood beams. Nice gardens to stroll around. The main restaurant food was great, & the bar area is very cosy. Lots of lovely cocktails to choose from. Fantastic view of the river Thames (although no walkable direct path down to it)."
