This hotel is under construction, there is no water, electricity or any service. their phone is not in service, The room they give me was dirty no towels, not even toilet paper. Stuff didn't give me any information, i asked for a relocation. They say it was my problem. I asked for a refund, they say no refund are made. I contacted expedia they said, booking was in process so they will check with hotel to see IF THEY AGREE TO REFUND MY MONEY, i had to pay...

"We have stayed here in the past, and we used to keep our boat in their marina. the staff, the property, the rooms are all very enjoyable. One of the best things: access by water taxi to the town of Barra Navidad , across the channel. Many great restaurants and shops there. Sometimes there are local festivals there, which makes it a fun, local experience. Lovely local folks. "

"We had a wonderful stay at La Posada. Beautiful ocean front view with great breakfast in the open air lounge area overlooking the pool and beach. Off the main strip, which we counted as a bonus- Taxis and busses are cheap and abundant. Loved it. "

"A very nice hotel if a little worn. Centrally located with a nice beach, although most of the time swimming is not advised because of the heavy surf. You might not want to get a room facing the ocean if the pounding of the waves keeps you awake at night."

"The hotel is falling apart. One of our rooms had a broken window and flooded during the night due to rain. We had no hot water, no room service, no wifi, no tv in the room, and these are all things it was auppised to have. The upkeep of the hotel was shockingly bad. Its literaly falling apart. The staff was good, the beach access was good. The restaurant was closed. Wont let me upload photos herw but ill post the same review on google with photos if i can."
