"This hotel was surpriseingly awsome! Very large - but felt cozy at the same time. We were welcomed with a happy hour with 2 compliementary drinks and snacks in the restaurant. Our room was clean and lots of room - we had a King suite which just is great on a winter night to watch a movie. We walked to everything downtown. Also swam in the pool that was lovely and had a workout session in the gym. The breakfast was amazing. Great staff to help you and made to order omelets and really anything...

"This is not your standard chain hotel. Although the overall architecture is 1970s motel style, the color choices, furnishings, and materials used in upgrading have produced a very sophisticated, upscale ambience. Life House Berkshire is promoted as a writer’s retreat. The lobby/bar appears to be from a tropical boutique hotel. Everything extra (meals, snacks) costs extra - no free breakfast here. The tap water has an iron taste - yuck (and I generally DO drink tap water). I appreciated the one...

"There was an issue during the check-in where I got charged double for my stay, but I was able to recieve my money back after a couple of business days. The carpeted floors of the hotel room were kinda gross and there some crusty dried up food that I stepped on when I walked by the side of the bed. The were kind in their service, but I don't think it'll return."
