"This is an older hotel that always some smoking rooms. It’s a non-busy area; somewhere to stay outside of Springfield out of the traffic. This place is perfect. And the guys running the front desk extremely helpful and accommodating. "

"Requested a non smoking room. Because my husband is a smoker, who does not smoke in the room they put us in a smoking room because they said the room would smell like smoke from his clothes. I have never heard this before. Plus they charged me $25.00 per dog (I have 2) extra to stay in a room that smelled like smoke. "

"Originally came to see Laura Ingalla Widler homestead but didnt do our homework and it closed the weekend before we got there. But we had fun anyway. Not too far from Springfield. House was great just to hang out and play games and catch up. Will stay again when we come back to actually see homestead lol."
