The drive there involves some pretty twisty roads with the last 5 km or so on a dirt/gravel road. "Thalassa apartments was awesome! It was super quiet and we enjoyed looking at the view. If you’re looking for something more lively, maybe travel closer to Rethymno. This town was very quiet and not too many places to go. However we still enjoyed it thoroughly! "
