"This is a really sweet and charming cottage as you can see from the pictures on the website and it was our second visit here so you can tell we think it is lovely. Parking is possible on the driveway so that is very convenient. Ground floor accommodation is excellent with separate kitchen, dinning room, games room (although we did not understand this version of billiards), generous sitting room, shower room and separate toilet. "We were here for 1 night arriving during the air traffic control issue and this was a stop over for Eurostar. So limited exposure. The room we had was fine, it was clean but is well worn, you can see it in everything. Bed was comfy and for the few hours we were there it was fine, i wouldn't want to stay for any longer. The real downside is the local area it is horrific and i don't think that even does it justice. I'm not one to feel intimidated but this is bad gangs of men/youths hanging...

"The property was close to the train station and grocery stores, and within walking distance of the Old Town. It was a bit noisy at night (sirens). We wished there was a bathroom fan, but otherwise the unit was great: spacious, could sleep a lot of people, and cute loft (but very steep stairs to get to the loft). "
