"This property is surly a dream. The property overall is very well kept and you can constantly see the staff doing all kinds of up keep. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff is absolutely amazing; From the amazing front desk crew to the restaurant and the rooftop pub (except at the morning breakfast buffet team that were unfriendly and not attentive). My wife had several services at the spa, and she said that the service was exceptional. We travel a lot and I cant remember giving all 5 stars, I can't say enough about this place."

"The hotel is well staffed and are always happy to help. The hotel and accommodation is very clean and is constantly kept clean. The pools are warm and relaxing. The Masai on the beach are warm and welcoming but can be a little full on at times, but hotel security are great at moving them along if you want to be left alone. The food and entertainment are fabulous and range if all inclusive drinks are great. Spoilt for choice with restaurants and food. I never go back to the same hotel, but this is one I would consider returning back to. "

"After climbing Kilimanjaro, we spent several nights on a round trip in Zanzibar in a group of five. On arrival, we were able to leave the rest of our luggage at the hotel so that we didn't have to lug it around all day. We spent the last two days at the Maru Maru Hotel, which was a very good decision. The hotel is located in the middle of the alleyways of Stonetown, is easily accessible and the perfect starting point for sightseeing tours. We were warmly welcomed and were able to use the rooftop bar and pool even on the day of our departure. Very good breakfast, lunch and dinner, we enjoyed it very much and would love to come back. Many thanks"

"Amazing staff… very helpful and genuine… everyone was extraordinary and food was out of this world… not easy to cook such a variety of food in that quantity and on daily base… but the chef was very creative and everything tasted good… only staff at the reception was under par… everyone else did a terrific job "
