"This was a very disappointing rental. Although the villa was very nice and we expected to enjoy our stay. However, the yard surrounding the villa was infested with ticks. Each of us had ticks on our feet, legs and clothing. We have a small dog who must have had several dozens ticks just by walking for a few minutes in the surrounding yard in the immediate viscinity of the villa. We didn't even need to go in the tall grass and we came back with ticks. It took us several hours over the next week...

"Our family and friends had a great overall stay at bolt hole. Staff were very friendly and attentive and made great meals. Property is very clean inside and very well kept outside. Back veranda, infinity pool, hammock and view of the ocean were all outstanding. Only downside is the house is just offset from the road, so with open air shutters there’s noise from traffic and/or bar across the street into the wee hours of the morning. "

"I spent 3 weeks at the Villa with my mom and brother and we had a great time. Portland is a beautiful parish so being in the hillside with the panoramic views overlooking Portlands beauty was just breath taking. Donna is a very gracious host, very accommodating and responsive. Communicating with Donna before we even left for JA and during our time there was easy and pleasant.
