Great space near town
The green barn is a great quiet, private space near town. It's clean, well-maintained and as shown in photos. Owners are very thoughtful in amenities and instructions/tips/local magazines provided. Very easy check in and out. Enjoyed our stay!

Located in a cozy setting away from the main road, the apartment is spacious, very well equipped and clean. Highly recommended. It’s about 30 mins from Stratton mountain and few minutes from Manchester town.

Loved our stay at the green barn over a long weekend. Close proximity to local restaurants and shops in town. Only 20min to Bromley. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and heated indoor parking spot made our stay so comfortable! Easy check-in and checkout.

Pros: Great setting in Equinox valley. Property owners super friendly with great communication. Beds were super comfortable and the unit was clean & spacious. Parking for one car in garage was much appreciated. 5 minute drive into Manchester Center with tons of nice shoos& restaurants Con: For those with mobility issues: about 14 stairs into the unit to navigate & haul up luggage so may not work for everybody.

Great property south of Manchester
My wife and I couldn't be happier. We need a place in Southern VT as a home base for visiting family and getting to Burlington for the eclipse. This property was perfect. Looks brand new, and is super well maintained. Most comfortable beds I've experienced in a vacation rental. Would definitely do again.

Beautiful setting!
The converted upstairs apartment of a quintessential green barn is surrounded by all sides by picturesque views of the mountains. The setting is private; the host checked in but wasn’t obtrusive; and the field with the Adirondack chairs made our visit! The unit was a little challenging with young kids because it only has a shower, but we made it work for a long weekend.

We had a lovely time exploring the beauty of Manchester from this VERY comfortable couple of rooms above a garage! The rooms were large, very well appointed and quite comfortable. The grounds are amazing, and the views are awesome. I would HIGHLY recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. The property was in a secluded and peaceful location yet close to downtown Manchester and area activities. We didn’t find the property to be “luxe” though which was fine and note there isn’t a dishwasher if you plan on eating in!

Hiking getaway!
This property is even better than the listing. The location is fabulous, just a very short drive from downtown Manchester. The apartment is so peaceful and relaxing. The owners have a great eye for detail and it had everything we needed for our stay. We cooked dinner both nights and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. We hope to visit again in the Fall! I gave the communication with the owner 5 stars even though we did not need to reach out to them as the apartment had absolutely everything we needed. The little touches make all the difference. A little welcome sheet, a hairdryer, soap, dishsoap, shampoo etc. We loved everything about it!

Amazing Home base to explore Manchester Area in a Modern Green Barn
We loved how spacious, clean and new everything was and they thought of everything for our stay. Checkin/out easy and the quiet 10+ acre property was amazing. We enjoyed a family of turkeys pass buy and the fireflies at night. Very close to town, attractions, dining and shopping. Make sure you stop by Wilcox Ice Cream down the road for the freshest homemade ice cream (we went their 4 times). Also Bob's Maple Shop at Bushies Autobody was the best deal on Grade A Amber Maple syrup ($30 for a half gallon!). Also do the Land Rover Experience even if you don't have a Landrover. It was a blast Off-roading in a Defender!!! We love the Manchester area and this was the perfect place to stay. We will be back! Everything was perfect and the host very responsive.

ive come to vt all my life - manchester to wallingford to burlington for family visits ...this place was above and beyond anywhere we have stayed and i was thrilled to have found it! my daughter and i honestly didnt want to leave ! my ONLY feedback thats not glowing is it took us a long time to figure out the tv remotes and the order in which to use them..minor annoyance ...takes NOTHING away from our stay....very appreciative of the care they took creating this space...

The Green Barn was a fabulous place for us to stay in Manchester. It was close enough to get to everything we wanted to do including hiking, shopping, drives to covered bridges and the Equinox Skyline, as well as a trip to ride the gondola in Stratton. There is so much to do in the area! The Green Barn was comfortable with plenty of room and comfortable beds. The kitchen had all the things we needed to make a great breakfast or late dinner after our explorations. The couch and TV were also nice for relaxing.
