"Such a sweet property and located within minutes to Callaway and FDR state park. Very comfortable beds own bathrooms. We really enjoyed having time to spend with friends gathered in the living room. We did most of our meals and chilled out between Callaway visits. Would return and recommend to others "

"Plant of room for 2-3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids. Littles would require close oversight with hills and stairs. Tub is deep and newer. House has been updated and maintained. Beautiful trees all around. Electric fireplace is a nice touch. Water pressure is good and plenty of hot water. Beds were comfy though egg crate padding is a bit warm. Really nice little place for a weekend getaway. "

"Sheppard’s Den provided a peaceful, relaxing place to return to each afternoon. It is conveniently located to Pine Mountain, Warm Spings, and Woodbury. We road our bikes on the trail nearly every day, visited the shops, ate, and enjoyed the ride to Woodbury for fresh peaches and tomatoes, just to name a few. We especially enjoyed Fitzgerald’s peach ice cream on the front porch."

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious and there were gathering areas upstairs, downstairs, and outside on the patios. The only negatives were the WiFi didn't work (we still had AT&T cell service) and the complimentary recreational equipment (tennis rackets/balls, pool cues/balls, ping pong paddles) provided was inadequate for use at the resort facilities (missing balls, pool cues...

"The cabin was amazing, we had a large group for the weekend. We spent part of the day at wild animal safari, which was a short drive from the cabin. Later in the day we had a late lunch on the spacious deck, the adults rested upstairs while watching the kids enjoy the yard. Later in the evening we watched the kids "snipe hunt". I would highly recommend this cabin."

"We enjoyed our stay, just what we all needed. Our mornings and late nights were spent on the porches. Thank you for the snacks! We enjoyed the hummingbirds and deer! Loved how the master had been divided to make the adorable bunk room which is where I stayed, bed was very comfy! Loved morning walks, always felt extremely safe. We will def be back! Thank you for providing us a much needed get away!"

"We had a very nice cabin weekend with our 3 grown children and their children. The layout of this cabin was very unusual but worked perfectly for our 4 couples. There were 11 of us in total and we had plenty of space to eat together and hang out. Yet there was also space for separate quiet time when needed. Really liked this cabin. "
