"Staff was courteous and helpful. Check in/out was easy. For a building of it's age it was in good repair and well maintained. However, to say my mattress was uncomfortable is an understatement. When I sat on it it appeared thick, but was the most flimsy thing I've slept on short of a cheap pull-out couch. Rooms were fairly sound proof from neighbors. Took an Uber there, but there seemed to be ample parking. Continental breakfast was offered and looked well stocked but I opted not to eat. ...

"I really can't compare to my past stays at this same location as THE MOTEL 6 HOTEL management caused my Expedia reservation at the Danver property to be cancelled for unknown reasons. The only reason we can suspect that our 2 room ONE NIGHT (Friday) reservation was cancelled was so the motel 6 could use our rooms for people wanting at least a 2 or 3 night weekend stay. "Rooms were spacious and clean. Being right on the ocean was great. Lot's of food options in the area and during the peak season they have a full bar onsite. Would be nice to stroll down the street with a local brew but this is Massachusetts and they dont allow it. You can burn a fatty but not drink a beer. SMH"

"Overall the house was fine. The location was perfect (close to Salem, but the neighborhood was quiet) and the beds were super comfortable. My recommendations would be to have a tv in the first floor living area and tvs in the bedrooms as well. Also some kind of curtain or frosted glass in the upstairs bathroom for privacy, since it looks right out onto the Salem State fields."

"Super unique! Very walkable to all the fun stuff downtown. I give this place 4.5 stars. My only beef is its terribly expensive for a 1 bathroom and the living room is cool, but uncomfortable. Great for insta pics and all that, but if you think you're gonna unwind an watch a scary movie its not gonna happen. The couches are more decorative. Big kitchen with everything that you'd have at home. And whoever was the decorator...the detail is impeccable. "

"We loved this location for our girls trip! The owner was excellent in responding to all our questions and needs. The views from the home are beautiful. If noise bothers you, this is very close to the airport and there is some type of industrial operation on the river. So you do hear airplanes all night as well as very loud metal banging from the river that starts early in the morning. I only mention this as an FYI! It did not lower the rating for us personally! "
