"We've spent two 4th of July's at this house and absolutely love it. The location is wonderful, the property manager is very responsive, and the house is so much more than you'd expect. We spent such a lovely holiday cooking and watching the kids play in the pool. Would recommend a million times over."

"First time to this part of the Gulf. It’s beautiful. We were lucky with great weather. The house was great. Furniture a bit dated but comfortable overall. The house is large and you get your steps in walking from one side to the other. The little guest house room was great as well. Updated kitchen and baths. The TVs were a challenge. "Our family of 6 had a fantastic stay at the Sugar Shack! Location can’t be beat - a block from the beach and a block to the bay. Very quiet street and neighborhood. So relaxing! The home had everything you could need and then some. Kayaks were awesome to have. Beach gear and shark hunting gear was available. There was a storm the day before our arrival and Brian was in touch with us ahead of time to keep us posted on status of the home. Everything worked out perfectly and we would love to stay...

"Stay was great, place was very cute and close to the beach. Other guests were great besides the above neighbors who were very foot heavy when they were there. We didn’t get to use some of the amenities but all were convenient. Beach was a lot less busy than the others which I like. Local shops and food were good. Walking at night & morning was refreshing esp sitting on the beach and watching the storms. Over all…we will be back!"

"Our stay was absolutely perfect! The owner was easy to contact and extremely helpful! We stayed in suite one and it was perfect for my family! Very clean! They provided all beach accessories and water toys!! We used the kayaks in stump pass which was a short distance from the house! Super convenient! Chairs, umbrellas, life jackets... they have it all! "So it was immediately after Hurricane Helene. Pat kept us updated as we were on the road to the property. The day before we were to arrive Pat called and said option A was out and option B would have too much water. So she refunded all our money including the VRBO fee. Excellent and honest host."
