"The Sunset Motel is a bit dated, but the room was clean, quiet & comfortable. You check yourself in. The room key & a booklet of clear information about the motel & the area are left on the table. We never met our hosts. The kitchen was basic, but had most of what we needed. No coffee pot, but there was a French press available. Thames is a good sized town, with a grocery store close by. We bought steaks to grill on the bbq. It’s nice sitting on the deck watching the sun go down. Lots of birds...

"This was a lovely spot. It took about 5-7 minutes walk up the spot to dig on got water beach. Take the path to the beach, cross the stream and turn left. After a bit you see many people in their pools. Great to have a shovel and towels provided. Bed was comfy and cute sitting area and kitchen. "

With the pool, tennis court next door and direct access to the water it’s well placed for loads of activities.
