The property itself is stunning, with views of the ocean from atop a lush hillside; the surrounding forest creates a quiet retreat for guests. "The property is amazing with great views and unique experience up in the rainforest. It is secluded and provides an eco experience. The roads up to the lodging are a little more challenging but we had a 4x4 vehicle and made it even with heavy rain. The hotel is currently partially under renovations but the host is very nice and try to ensure an enjoyable experience. Don't go into it thinking its a 5 star resort but rather an off-the-beaten-path experience."

"We had the most wonderful stay at Casa Encanto. The guest suite was amazing. Had everything we needed for the week. Spotlessly clean, linens were bright white and smelled heavenly. I’d give the host a 20 out of 10 if I could. They were so attentive but also gave us our space. We are already planning our return. Do yourself a favor and book with Casa Encanto. "
