"We stayed here for 6 nights last week in room 3154. The hotel is lovely and our room was perfect; we had a two bedroom queen room with a sea view. Our daughter loved having her own bedroom and bathroom! All of the staff at the hotel were just lovely polite helpful and couldn't do enough to help make our stay enjoyable. We only had breakfast but it was one of the best breakfasts that we have ever had, a huge variety of options to suit all tastes and no matter how busy it was we always found a table. The indoor pool is great although it gets busy later in the day. The outdoor pools are freshwater so are pretty cold at this time of year. We always found sunloungers available and pool towels are available at no extra charge. There is some building work going on around the hotel but it didn't bother us and when it's all finished the hotel will be superb. We were disappointed in Bugibba itself. It has changed so much over the last few years. So much building work going on as in the whole of Malta. It seems to want to cater for Brits and they are modelling it on Benidorm! Buggibba has lost its character and Maltese charm. A real shame. Having said that the hotel itself is fantastic and we used it as a base to travel around the rest of Malta. A bus stop is 3 minutes walk away and you can get everywhere! Malta is a beautiful island with history culture sunshine and wonderful food. We will be back and will definitely stay at The Doubletree Hilton again. "

"Generally the property was good. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Facilities were just adequate, the shower ran out of hot water after one person then you had to wait half an hour for the next person. Otherwise I was happy with my accommodation. The area Tarona house is in, is pleasant enough however you have to be careful as some dog owners are not diligent and think more of their pet than other human beings. "

"I had a wonderful stay at Pebbles Resort. The friendliness of the staff was exceptional. They couldn’t do enough for their guests and it truly was service with a smile. Great food and drink options. Very clean. Pool was cold but refreshing and never a problem to find a sun bed. Just one small thing, the music around the pool started too early and was too loud. "

"The apartment was great. Very clean, bright and spacious, with a large dining and kitchen area leading onto a massive balcony (10x20 ft). Living area with sofa and a book case with lots of books and information on Malta. the two bedrooms where also a good size with both having double beds and one an ensuite. An other bathroom with shower over a bath. It was situated about 500 yds from the harbour where 5 tour cruises depart from. (the best being Mermaid cruises) There is a small supermarket at the end of the street, 200 yds from the front door of the block (turn right when you come out) which had all the essentials needed for a stay. Bread, milk, water, wine beer and spirits. In the back streets behind this shop are three or four bars and restaurants then a few more steps takes you to the main road (Mosta Road) with lots of shops and the bus stop to travel the Island. We had a great holiday in the apartment in St Pauls Bay, Malta."
