"Lovely clean apartment, well equiped for self catering. We did book breakfast but the buffet restaurant closed due to being out of season. However the staff brought breakfast to order every morning to our room, which was lovely. I asked for an extra blanket (before we worked the heating out) which was delivered promptly. Nothing was to much trouble. Bars and restaurants all close by. "

"A quirky old Maltese house. Very clean and comfortable room and bed with lovely harbour views. The roof terrace was lovely but the lighting was all from the floor upwards and made seeing to walk around rather dangerous. Also unable to see to read on the balcony too due to the lighting and no comfy chairs to relax outside. "

"Excellent place to stay! Friendly people, beautiful accommodations! Perfectly located and has a rooftop pool to boot! The only criticism would be the mattresses… they were too firm for our liking and it made it hard to sleep, but we like soft beds so anyone else may not have an issue at all. We are already planning our next trip to Malta and plan to book here again"

"This is an absolute gem. I came to Malta to work in the mornings and explore in the afternoons. The studio apartment is well equipped and proved to be an excellent base. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. There are some good bars hidden away nearby. It is a short walk to the tourist areas. Cabs are cheap and easy to get. I stayed for an extra week. In fact, I am still here and considering spending the rest of the winter here! "

"Great customer service by Nick and Aisha. On arival for whatever reason we were upgraded ro a seaview apartment. Apartment needed some TLC but nothing that I'd moan about. Overall good stay and in a good spot. "

"We arrived to find the property was ready and hadn’t been cleaned from the previous tenants. We contacted the owner and to be honest he was very good, provided another property across the hallway and got the original property cleaned within in two hours. We were moved back as the alternative property was cold. But after a poor start we had a good stay. Important to follow the owners instructions as there are several properties in the area with similar names "

"The property is well located, there is a bus station about five minutes walk from the property so if you take the X3 bus from the airport you you literally get off at the last stop Bugibba, and it cost only two euro. The national aquarium is about three minutes walk away and there are various places to swim and do water sports basically on the doorstep. "It is nice that my package came with half board. The breakfast is very good. I was just disappointed about how outdated and rough many parts of the hotel look. I stayed on the 4th floor with my family and there is absolutely no WiFi up there, despite the description saying that there is WiFi in the rooms. "Excellent place, bright, clean, hot water. Had to contact the manager Pedro about a peep peep sound after a brief power outage. He replied Immediately and told me what to do. Quiet area, close to Merchants Street. Highly recommend this place."

"We had an amazing stay, the property is excellent - well maintained and clean throughout. It was very well located, with restaurants and shops less than 5 minutes away, a short walk to the local beach, and easy to either get to the bus terminal or have a taxi come to the door. "We had a delightful and comfortable stay. We loved the balcony, it might have been small but the views were much appreciated by us. It was quiet yet we could the busyness outside. The Deck restaurant across the laneway was a wonderful find, we dined there all three evenings of our stay as it was so good and great service. We were close to the market and the bus stop and all the amenities. Friendly people who were very neighbourly. All in all, a huge success."

"Fantastic few days in the apartment, it had everything you could need for a short stay and more. The apartment was close to some great restaurants and shops. Loved the hot tub at night just sat watching the stars and the city views. Would highly recommend this apartment. I hired a car but in hindsight probably would have just used the buses as parking in Malta is a bit of a problem wherever you go. "

"Unfortunately the sauna and steam room were out of service during my stay - I booked the hotel because I wanted to use the spa facilities. There is currently a large construction project on a building directly in front of the hotel that causes a fair amount of noise during the day. The hotel was beautiful & I received a free room upgrade unexpectedly. A brilliant hotel!"

Great Value for Price

" I recently stayed at the Mayflower Hotel in Malta and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the staff were respectful, helpful, and always welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable. One of the best features of this hotel is its convenient location. There’s a bus stop at the end of the road, and from there, we could easily travel everywhere we wanted with just one bus. This made exploring Malta incredibly simple and stress-free. The area surrounding the hotel is vibrant, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The prices in the local establishments were very reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise. The locals themselves were also extremely friendly, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend the Mayflower Hotel for its cleanliness, courteous staff, and excellent location. It’s a great choice for anyone looking to explore Malta with ease while enjoying a comfortable and friendly environment."
