Located at the foothills of the Adirondacks this property is 1/2 mile from the Titus Mountain ski resort, .
It features 1000 feet of private SALMON RIVER SHORELINE FOR EASY ACCESS TO world class fly fishing.
Just 5 miles from a Robert Trent Jones 36 hole Golf course.
The hiking, ATV and snowmobile trails are endless and easily accessed from this property.
The large driveway and spacious lot offer plenty of room for your machines. This is truly a budget friendly spot for hunters, hikers, fisherman, skiers, and trail riders.
The four bedroom cottage is the perfect escape for families or couples who like to vacation together.
It features a spacious eat in kitchen and a large open concept living room for 8 guests.
The main level also features a comfy bedroom and a full bath, there’s also a full-size washer and dryer for your use and a small home office area for your computer.

upstairs are three more bedrooms, one featuring two single beds and one bedroom with a queen bed.
There is also a large master bedroom which features a sitting area and a separate Little room with a futon bed and a walk in closet. The attached master bathroom has a large walk-in shower.

The cozy front porch is decorated seasonally. Three seasons of the year it is an awesome place to have coffee in the morning and wine in the late afternoon. In the winter it is a great place to store skis and other outdoor gear.
The back porch off the living room has a six person hot tub and a huge backyard with a fire pit and a short path to the river.

This property is very private and a great gathering place if you need outdoor space and privacy for your group.

THE RATE OF $199.00 per NIGHT IS FOR 2 guests. Additional guests are $ 20 per night per person. The additional charge is to cover cost of additional cleaning, laundry, hot tub use, trash and additional paper products.

Comfortable Cottage in North Country

Enjoyed the lovely cottage again!
My brother and I did our annual fly fishing trip to the Adirondacks in late September. We stayed at Cathy’s cottage and enjoyed every minute of it. The property backs onto the Salmon River so we could and hear the sound of the rapids at night as we sat on the porch. There is a hot tub, a fire pit, big comfy chairs to sink into and more. Everything is in perfect order and there are little references to the style and grace of the owner thoughout. A great stay and we look forward to another visit there in 2025.

Farm House Cottage Review
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay. The property was very clean and the area was very quiet and relaxing. The host was extremely accommodating and accessible. Very good value and would highly recommend. The only very small issue was that the GPS took us a bit further on the road than required but that is probably a Google Maps issue.

The location of this cottage is fantastic, minutes away from Titus Mountain was perfect. The cottage was clean, everything was as in the listing. Plenty of space for 8 of us. Would stay again if we ski Titus again!

We had a delightful three-night stay at this spacious cottage in the Adirondacks. The setting was serene, perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with friends. Fantastic cottage!
We came for snowboarding at Titus and found it was the perfect cottage for our weekend. It is extremely close to the hill. The cottage is even better than advertised with everything needed to make you feel at home. The hot tub is a great bonus. Would highly recommend!

Nice house and great location!
The house is very convenient, the location is great - just 2 minutes drive to Titus Mountain. Perfect for skiing. There was enough space in the house, we had all we needed. Cathy is a great host, very responsive!

Wonderful stay!
This was a really lovely property, very cozy and comfortable and well stocked too! The owner was very helpful and responsive to our questions and needs. The hot tub was well used and enjoyed! The back yard is surrounded by trees and feels quite private. Nice fire pit, patio with table & umbrella, short walk through the woods to get to the river which was really enjoyed by my hubby & teenagers. We also really liked the covered front porch…very pleasant! Definitely recommend. 👍

Beautiful Riverside Retreat
We stayed here for our annual fishing trip and absolutely loved the accommodations. Cathy was attentive to our needs and very communicative. The place was spotless and had so many perks, including a hot tub, washer/dryer, and newer outdoor, propane grill. Take a short walk through the woods and you're at the riverside. Highly recommend, and we will certainly be back in the future. Thanks for everything Cathy!

The quiet life!
We enjoyed the piece and quiet very much. The home was as described - very clean, well kept and Cathy was right next door if there were any issues. The river was just a short walk from the house and I enjoyed attempting to fish! Overall great experience other than intermittent issues with internet access and poor cell reception (which was expected).

Great Place
Unfortunately the owner had to be away on family issues or so we heard.We had trouble finding the place with no address.Took 4 phone calls to reach the owner.Much confusion in checking in.It stated an old farmhouse behind a new log house.This place is just off the main road and maybe an old farmhouse in the past. This place is all remodeled and a very nice place.We did however have very little hot water but managed to get by for the three days. Overall this place is very nice and plan on returning next Spring for our annual fisging trip.

Fantastic
We had such a nice stay! The cottage was beautifully appointed, felt very homey, had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. Our host was easy and quick to communicate with and the river was so fun! We brought tubes and floated down a ways multiple times with our kids (8,11,13). Town was close for last minute things and we hiked to high falls (trailhead just 10 minutes away). Our son loved the hot tub! The only thing we wished we had was out door dining seating but other than that it was a great stay! Thank you Cathy!

Amazing Owner + Home
My wife and our five children (our 6th child was working so was not able to come this time) absolutely loved this home. My family and I also cannot stop talking about what an amazing blessing it was to meet the owner. We will never forget how special she is and how much meaning she brings to this world. This home has been one of my family’s best vacations. We simply love the home, the location, the entire property, and once again the owner who we absolutely will always have in our heart. Charming ADK cottage for two small families
First time venturing this far north and couldn't have been happier with the cottage. Very comfortable and an ideal location for our 2-wk stay with close friends. Extra bedroom and large master bedroom as well as wifi made it possible to work remotely. The well kept yard much more expansive and the site much more beautiful than pictures reveal, with plenty of space for two outdoorsy t/ween boys and active pup. Woods and river were a wonder and it was great to be able to simply walk out to fish. An excellent launch pad for exploring Adirondack Park just south and found many good hikes, swimming, and boating opportunities nearby plus good tennis courts, farm stand, groceries in Malone. Loved the firepit, patio dining area/grill, porch, hot tub, and appreciated the updated kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds and seating, and charming details. Host thoughtfully provided outdoor games and advice on area. Great place to unwind and disconnect from city life. A real balm for our boys and us and just what we needed. Hope to come again.

Family trip for wedding
We stayed at Cathy's place for a wedding. The house is so charming but the decor is definitely dated. There was everything we needed including kindling for the firepit. After we see the property, wish we would have brought tubes for the river. We did have to use the back door when we first got there, the stairs had been worked on the and the front front porch was taped off. We weren't really excited when we heard people in the back before 8am who were using a saw and putting up a form arounf the patio. My phone didn't get reception, AT&T, for the first 2 days, I don't know why but just an FYI. Everyone else did. We would definitely stay again and we are actually going to look into the cabin she has to rent for future trips.

Love this region…
My husband and I live in upstate N.Y. so we are familiar with the region. This was just a getaway for us; a chance to unwind. The farmhouse is charming. The river is spectacular. Since we live on a rural farm, the house was not as secluded as I thought. Though it might be for properties in that area. Therefore our two dogs had to be on leash all the time. The house is right on a busy road. One issue we had was in initially accessing the house. The lockbox wouldn’t work and after 25 minutes we found a key on a shelf on the porch. Since I had no cell service, I couldn’t contact anyone and I had to use the bathroom after that long trip. :) Another issue was with Wi-Fi. The username and password provided in my check-in email and those on the sign in the house were wrong. I spent about an hour trying any networks that showed on my phone and all the various passwords and finally got it. Lastly, the tv loses internet often. We planned to watch several movies since the weather was cold and rainy, but they would cut out often, sometimes for half a day. Overall the experience was pleasant and the house was comfortable.
