"We enjoyed the peaceful quiet of the riverfront property. The stay was what we were hoping for. We wish we could have had more time to enjoy the water activities, hiking and more relaxing. Could have done a little less with all the spiders and cobwebs; however, that made it a true nature experience."

"This cabin was just up our alley, right next to the Maumee River. Quite, peaceful, and rustic. The bathtub looks like they took a log and made a tub out of it. The toilet is one of a kind, it sits on a stump of wood and you hand pump it to flush. They have kayaks, canoes, and electric boats that come with renting the property. If you are a person that loves the outdoors this is the place to stay."

"This is a beautiful and hidden asset, a lovely wooded ledge upslope from the Maumee River. Riverwood is at the base of low bluffs overlooking the river and consists of about a dozen cabins and smaller houses, almost all for short-stay rental. The host is a hilarious, friendly guide who through jokes, photo-taking and storytelling imparts a sense of the easygoing, vacationing atmosphere that's well supported at this hidden old-time fishing camp.
