The Living area has a dining table for 4 ppl, a sofa (which could turn into a sofa bed) and a nice, big TV. We had previously stayed at Villa D’Este for our honeymoon and found that Sans Souci offered so much more for us. We enjoyed all the surrounding villages and restaurants and felt compelled to return to the villa just to relax and take in the views and sounds of birds and church bells. "The property is spectacularly situated, but is somewhat difficult to find, one has to cross the neighbours’ ground to approach. The appartment was reasonably tidy, but the furniture needs refurbishment. The lower compartiment is used for storage of garden equipment and is severely smelling (fuel damps of the grassmower) and can therefore not be used as a sleeping facility. The swimming pool was clean."

Access to the Menaggio and Cadenabbia ferry stations was very convenient and allowed us to get back and forth across Lake Como both with and without our vehicle. We also enjoyed visiting Villa Carlotta which was very close to Ca' Mia. The rental property is tucked into a residential section on the side of the hills above Menaggio so there is no view of Lake Como from...
