"Small quiet boutique hotel in quiet side street but well placed for main sights; all day tea and coffee very welcome but breakfast in hotel would have been a nice addition ( but sadly not on offer);room rather small but quite chic; excellent housekeeping "

"We had a lovely stay at Welcome Inn Nerja. The pool area is lovely and peaceful and the views are stunning. It’s close enough to walk to some of the closest beaches (although we wouldn’t fancy walking back up the hill) and a very short drive to Nerja town centre. Very tasty homemade breakfast with different items each day. The room was clean and comfortable with an excellent shower. And Natalia was a great host with lots of information about things to do in the area!"

"Second visit to stay but have visited restaurant many times over the years. Fabulous food and service. A little on pricey side but worth it especially if live music on offer. Breakfasts,(included )are a la carte and absolutely wonderful. Down side was beach sunbeds are no longer included and even out of season ( October) the charge is 25 euros per day per person! We used the pool sunbeds instead or walked up the beach to find cheaper options. Very welcomin reception staff. "

"Wonderful place, great views as so high up, lovely heated pool, spacious outdoor areas, our room had amazing views, fridge, cutlery, microwave, toaster and kettle. Peaceful area, we drove down to the beach area for dinner where lots of choice. Able to buy drinks at the pool area. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again."

"What a fantastic whirlwind visit to Competa and how lucky that I came across Almijara on an online booking service. Maurice was a kind, knowledgable and gracious host, honestly nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely, modern furnishings, spacious shower with very good pressure. The atmosphere from the plaza below so relaxed, delicious breakfast on the roof terrace with breathtaking views. I'm waxing lyrical here I know, it was that good, and no, I'm neither related to them nor...

"After my girlfriend could not come on the vacation due to appendicitis, I decided to travel to Alora solo. The region is just stunning and David and Wendy were extremely accommodating and made me feel right at home . I have never woken up to such a stunning view. The pool is perfect as well and a great way to cool off and get some exercise. Thank you so much for your hospitality, David and Wendy."
