"The family who own the property were so welcoming, chatty and very helpful. They booked a trip to the Samaria gorge for us, gave advice on beaches, walks and buses to Chania. The property and pool area was very clean and hosed down daily. The rooms were spotless. We would recommend staying here."

"When we visit our family in Crete, we usually rent a home. I have decided that I prefer to stay in Daratsos because of its proximity to Chania (town and the Old Harbour) as well as Agia Marina. This home, Villa Anva, was probably the best one we have stayed in so far. It sits on a hill, and you have beautiful views to the sea. It is in a quiet neighborhood, but it is just a few minutes walk down the hill to excellent cafes, two major grocery stores and restaurants. We never walked to the beaches...

"Nicely done up rooms, clean linen and towels daily. Surrounding gardens nicely kept Water problems unacceptable- lack of water pressure which resulted in water not being available for showers after being on the beach"
