"We were immediately impressed as soon as we walked in the door, and it takes a lot to impress my wife. Not only is it well laid out, it is very tastefully decorated and has a lot of added little touches. The Nespresso (coffee included) was really appreciated as were the snacks and breakfast items. I'm always thankful when there is a bbq. It's a great location for stargazing as well. I wish we could have enjoyed the deck more, but time and weather didn't allow it. I highly recommend this property, you won't be disappointed. "

Amongst the natural beauty of the forest and as though a welcoming committee of south African animal sculptures was certainly a conversation among my whanau. The accommodation certainly exceeded my expectations. Warm, clean, spacious and all the utilities necessary to enjoy a wonder stay. Enjoyed meeting other holiday makers too. "Interesting- self service! Welcomed by text, with instructions for access. Checked out as instructed. Didn’t meet any management other than friendly cleaning staff. Efficient and well managed. 10 minute walk to town- ideal!"

The hosts are knowledgeable about their animals and surroundings and are happy to share their knowledge and engage but are also very aware of knowing when to give you private and space. We thought they had the balance of this just right. We really enjoyed the peaceful environment and the amazing spa pool.. the hosts had thought of everything and we didn't want for anything...nice little treats provided including breakfast The bed was really comfortable, the place was spotless and we will definitely return if they will have us "

"The Mill House is such a wonderful place to stay - so clean, so welcoming, and every little detail has been thought about to make you comfortable and at home… a Nespresso coffee machine, deep bath with candles provided, fluffy robes, fresh flowers in every room, helpful basics in the fridge. And every room was lovely. We hoped it would be beautiful from the photos, but it exceeded our expectations!We had our dogs with us and they loved running around the big lawn and we enjoyed the pretty garden. We picked this place mainly because we could bring our dogs, but would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to really get away from it all! It’s incredibly peaceful despite being so close to the highway. The host Amanda was also really helpful and easy and prompt to deal with. Much appreciated and we look forward to staying here again!"
