"The property did provide limited car parking which was useful. Maybe next time though I should read the entry better as this isnt a Bed and Breakfast (B&B as stated clearly in the title). They no longer provide breakfasts which was slightly inconvenient especially as there was no kettle in the room. "

"I arrived having pre-booked on Expedia to be told by the landlord that he does not accept booking any more on this app. The original price was quite reasonable at £50 however he said a room was available with ensuite at £75 which I paid as I had no other options. The room was clean but there was no shower gel or shampoo provided and at £75 I would have expected a breakfast. In fact though, they don't even provide a paid for breakfast which is surprising. "

"Wonderful setting very peaceful. We brought our dog with us our room had direct access to a lovely garden. Delicious breakfast, no bar or restaurant on site but we found a nice pub Fox & Hounds a couple of minutes away and had a very nice dinner there. "

"Super overnight stay in this charming inn. Immediately felt at home and everyone is so welcoming. Drinks prices are very reasonable and we love the hot pork scratchings on the bar. Plenty of hot water for the bath and the absolute bonus of having the Chinese take away on site, The Water Margin. We will definitely stay again without doubt. "

"What a great find - really lovely, small house with just a few, very well appointed rooms. Free use of a well equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room, all only used by the guests. Host was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Could not fault it, great value and very easy access to the M1."

"Can't review hotel as never actually stayed there as they relocated us to another hotel saying it would meet our booking which was family room for 2 and breakfast, what we got was a single room with double bed and no breakfast, so spent weekend sleeping with my 40year old daughter with no breakfast not what was planned. They did refund £20 which was used for taxis because it was so far from where we needed to be."

"It had everything we needed. Bed was comfy. Bedding and towels were clean. There was a shelf unit that was about to collapse and the blinds were knackered and discoloured. The shower was very warm and powerful. Instructions and how to enter the building was emailed to me. But I didn't realise and was expecting a message via WhatsApp or text etc. Tried to call the number on the door and also the other number I had, but couldn't get a reply. Then I found the email, with all the information...
