"Great stay in low season, but the staff were still attentive and the experience was excellent."

"We came to ko lanta in low season and the island seemed quieter than we expected. It gave us a chance to really relax around the beautiful resort based right on Klong nin beach. I’ve been impressed with the amount of staff busily doing their jobs. As an early riser, I’ve seen them sweep the walkways, scoop the leaves out of the pools and sweep the beach daily. The staff helped us arrange day trips, car hire and laundry. But most importantly, they always greeted us with friendliness and made us feel extremely welcome. Our trip included stays in fantastic resorts in ko lipe and ko phi phi as well as ko lanta but it was here we felt and amazing connection to the people and staff. Sak, the manager, was really friendly to us and we had some great chats about life on ko lanta. I also had some jokes with the receptionists including Hah. And Pen, one if the owners was really fair with us when plans dictated we had to leave a day earlier than scheduled. In 4 days we hired a car and toured the whole island in a day, visited an ethical elephant sanctuary which was an unbelievable experience and got some well needed rest and relaxation time in. When we left earlier than breakfast time they made us a simple take away breakfast the night before! If you want to just relax in paradise definitely visit ko lanta and definitely stay at Lanta Miami! It’s a great resort and private sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the Thai streets. "Great stay here! The room was very nice as well as all of the staff. They made renting a motorbike and getting a transfer to the airport easy. Would definitely recommend!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Pimalai. The airport transfer was seamless and well organized. Upon arrival, we received a welcome drink and were informed that they upgraded us to a beachside villa. The villa was spacious, very clean, and had wonderful indoor/outdoor features! I got a massage at the spa and it was excellent. My only critique would be the food. Breakfast was good, but could be improved by trimming down the offerings and focusing on the freshness of buffet items. Unfortunately, I believe my husband got food poisoning from the smoked salmon (that was the only thing he ate that I did not). The three meals (other than breakfasts) that we ate at the hotel were okay, but did not seem worth the price. We found great food in the nearby village of Kantiang for the rest of the meals during our stay. We would highly recommend going to the local restaurants for lunch and dinner, only a short 10 min walk down the beach."

"Amazing hotel on the beach with everything you need. The on site restaurant, not owned by the hotel, had mediocre food. The hotel itself was clean, nice pool, great cafe and buffet breakfast. "

"Layana Resorts is one of the best adults only resort we have been to. One will feel that attention to detail the minute you arrive at the property. Frank is the GM of Layana. He is one of the kindest and respectful. The hotel staff were the same. Everyone took great care of us. Frankly speaking we did not feel like getting out of this resort given this one has all the bells and whistles. We enjoyed the morning brunch and evening dinners. We took advantage of discounted spa for guests. All in all the property is on the beach. Well equipped gym. A great restaurant and couple of pools. Cannot wait to get back to Layana again."

"Very comfortable and well run, efficient and good restaurant. Watch sunsets and in the morning during breakfast..the waves are very close and quite enjoyable. You can run on the beach for about 20-30 minutes as the beach is Gradually slopped. Walk to 711 and get a massage very close to the beach so very soothing as well. Various restaurants and the coffeeclub is close by to get some work done if needed..Great value. I just met a couple from Switzerland and they walk to the restaurant from their home because they like it so much"

"We enjoyed our stay at Sivalai Beach Resort very much. The staff are kind, observant and diligent. The facilities are highly maintenanced and both indoor and outdoor areas are kept clean, even the beaches are being swept, an effort that are highly apreciated. And most importantly, the kitchen there is really doing a great job. In all, we had a really time there."
