"Great funky historic hotel right on Cuba St. Close to good food and shopping and everything is close by. Breakfast was great and this had everything we needed. We got off the last Interislander ferry in Wellington at 10pm. Quick taxi (10 min) to the hotel and it was another 10 min to the airport. We hung out at the Te Papa museum for the morning before our flight in the afternoon which was perfect and such and amazing museum. The hotel is an easy walk to the museum. "Great central location as it is only a short walk down to Lambton Quay. It is quite steep though and there are quite a few steps to come back up. The apartment was good and functional but being in a city it can be quite noisy. I don’t want to sound too negative because we actually quite liked it."

The hotel was also right on the street with great places for dinner; could walk to several great spots. Had great parking as well."
