"A really cool property decidedly French. The restaurant and bar have a drop dead view of Papeete, the harbor and Moorea. Nightlife at the bar is mainly locals with a mix of tourists. It is across the street from the ferry terminal which is super convenient. The concierge was over the top helpful and kind. A cool coffee shop shares the bottom floor. "

"The entire staff at this resort is amazing. They upgraded us from a garden view to an ocean view. The property is beautiful. The food is good. It is expensive but that’s what you expect at a quality resort. If you check in early they allow you to stow your luggage and use their pool etc. if you have a night flight they allow you to stash your luggage and continue to enjoy the resort. They have nice rooms where you can shower and change before your flight. The only hiccup we had was a desk clerk said if we signed up to be an IHG member we could check out at 2:00 which was not the case. Since they make accommodations to enable you to use the resort it wasn’t a big issue. The best thing about the resort is the staff. Friendly, genuine, and always helpful. "
