"We absolutely loved our week at the Green Shutters. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time in the pool, we found the gîte very comfortable, and Gers is definitely an undiscovered gem of a region. And to top it off Ron and Ann are wonderful hosts!"

We particularly appreciated that she left us breakfast for our first morning having arrived in the early hours. Home made plum jam was such a treat. We were blessed with wonderful weather so made full use of the fabulous pool which Martine cared for, discreetly, every morning. It was nice to have a variety of sitting out areas. "Very nice English influenced clean house. Big garden with all the privacy. Private parking just next to the house. We had very nice chats with the owner. Because of a bit rainy weather sometimes we didn't use the swimming pool much, but the pool was very big and nice to swim in. Thanks Chris and Gill for this lovely week!"

"Beautifully restored accommodation nestled in the peaceful vineyards. We received the warmest of welcomes and were made to feel at home immediately. The accommodation has everything you need for your stay and is immaculately clean. A lot of effort must have gone into this restoration. The beds are very comfy and there is ample seating inside and out. The pool area is beautiful and the Daflon’s are the most gracious hosts. We hope to return to this very special place again."

"When we were arrived we were welcomed by the owner who showed us the house, the owner is very friendly and helpful. There was some confusion about the bed linnen and towels that are not included (although the advert says it is) costing an extra 14 Euro PP. The house itself is situated somewhat remote but in a very nice and quiet setting with pool and jacuzi and a large garden. The house itself needs some modernization but is practical. "

"Rien à redire sur la maison, mais quelques points a améliorer pour l’extérieur : Seulement 3 transats qui ont déjà bien vécu,pour 8 personnes,pas de lumière extérieure pour manger sur la terrasse,parasol vraiment trop petit et qui a lui aussi bien vécu,aucune explications a l’arrivée contact uniquement par sms avec le propriétaire..Dommage. Personnellement je ne relouerai pas cette maison ."

Der Vermieter ist unglaublich freundlich...Danke für frische Melonen, Erdbeeren und Eier.. die Lage ist sehr ruhig, Einkäufe, Croissants am Morgen nur mit Auto möglich...völlig erholsamer, toller Urlaub ruhig "

"We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, it is very basic but suits our needs as an overnight stop with a dog. Last night we arrived and found the toilet seat cracked through and the sink cracked, the shower sealant was mouldy. I informed the reception about the toilet seat and was told there was no other rooms available and she thanked me for telling her. This morning at breakfast I gave my dog a piece of my paid for baguette and a piece of cheese, the gentleman on reception came into the breakfast room and informed me the food was for humans and not dogs! There was a French man with his dog in the breakfast room, he gave his dog food with no problem. We will not be staying here again and I would not recommend this hotel based onmy latest experience, I felt extremely threatened by the attitude of the male receptionist and his manner towards me. "
