"I stayed 2 nights here in January. Booked a private room.Solo travelling. The hostel has a good breakfast , a variety of hot a cold choices including cakes. Has a restaurant on site - handy after a long travelling day. Good value but limited choices. The communal area with kettle/ microwave/ fridge is so handy. Room and bathroom was clean.Fluffy towels, toiletries provided and daily room cleaning. There was a sauna, swimming pool , small gym but I can't comment on those as didn't use them....

The actual place was okay but they need to fumigated. If you are ok with bedbugs it’s an okay place. Otherwise. Be warned. Also. The staff were not friendly or helpful in any manner. "We stayed in the upstairs apartment of a farmhouse. The owners Mom was very thorough in her checking procedures even though her English was limited. The apartment was well insulated and clean. The spa services were easy to schedule with the friendly staff (definitely get a massage while you’re there) and the location was perfect. We were a ten minute walk from the city center and felt both close to everything and far enough away that we could pretend to be locals. Couldn’t have chosen a better place to end our days in Tuscany. "
