"Great location, good apartments. However, some need better maintenance. We had to switch apartments because the fuse in the first one blew when two showers were used at the same time. Lack of communication led us to have a car in the garage while work was done in it and we were told we could not leave with the vehicle as it would damage the work. "AVOID! This place was an absolute nightmare! Ants, roaches, and bedbugs all over the place! When I arrived, the place was unclean from the last guest and the hotel did not care. There is no front desk. BEWARE: It is in the favela and very dangerous even during the day! The pictures are deceptive. I left before my booking ended. You could not pay me to stay here again! "

"Sebastian did an outstanding job in answering all of my questions and remaining flexible with payment whilst I sorted out my bank accounts (make sure your credit cards have pins!). I was initially concerned about having a 2 bedroom apartment but I did well with having 3 nights to myself and 3 nights with a couple of Asian guys who were fun.
