"This property has changed hands and some of the reviews do not reflect the current situation. The reception staff did not speak English. Parking is off site in an open public area. The walk to reception is OK in the dry season, the same walk with luggage in the rainy season would be a shocker. Breakfast offerings were all COLD and consisted of fried rice, fried chicken,pork sausages and bread for toast. There is no Japanese restaurant. "Quiet location, beautiful grounds with walkways, fish pond, gardens, and pineapple plantation. Good for a get away from the city. Obviously was the place to be about 20 years. Now it has very few guests and has seen better days in terms of facilites (restaurant was closed, no boat on the pond, no bicycles for guests, etc). We stayed three nights and only on one night was one other room occupied. But very relaxing compared with staying in Mae Sai or Chang Sien. You need a car to stay here."
