The lodge had INCREDIBLE amenities, fully and I mean fully stocked kitchen and cooking and utensils and appliances for preparing our full meals and eating as a large group for all our meals together! Such a warm cozy fun filled adventure to book and enjoy our family time together and enoughRoom to spread out and have private time or quiet time as needed for families and children. "All the hotels were booked AND overpriced in Columbia for Homecoming…. So we ventured out to this super cute VRBO 25 miles north out in the country!! Very clean and super spacious for a one bedroom!! Could have easily fit 2 more people on the couches !! Homemade muffins and fresh eggs waiting for us !!! Definitely be back !!"

"The wilderness retreat is fantastic!! comfy beds, large bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, and cozy living area. The place was very clean too. We came in to visit family and we were able to accommodate family dinners. The staff are so kind and eager to help in any way. Absolutely loved my stay and will be returning!!"

"You could not ask for more beautiful place on the lake with walking paths and privacy. The accommodations for enjoying the outdoor space was great. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing. We caught several small fish but we eventually found some large Crappies bass, and catfish. It was one week of total relaxation and heaven."
