"On a whim, we chose to splurge and stay at the chial reserve Villa because it looked beautiful, and once we were there, we immediately called them and booked another night. "The property management team was very helpful. The home was an excellent condition and clean. I like that the neighborhood is quiet. Tour companies will pick you up from this location, which is also very nice. Overall, our stay was fantastic and we plan on staying at La Rana in the future. "

"This is an exceptional resort. We stayed in the Mahogany cabana and it exceeded our expectations. It backed the river and was so pretty. The restaurant overlooks the river and is beautiful. The goat cheese platter was one of my favorite items on the menu. They make their own cheese. Be sure to visit their farm. We toured the Mayan ruins and also did the river tubing tour. We had a great time!"

Good location

"It was in a great location (near tourist area, walking distance to restaurants, and the market. The staff were very friendly. Nice hot shower. Clean room. Good wifi connection. There is no safe in the room and the door locknis not a deadbolt. The front desk offered to keep my valuables in their safe"

FANTASTIC PEOPLE!

"Great property and truly amazing people! In addition to providing super friendly and far above the usual service of very good hotels, they went far beyond in helping us resolve an issue with our rental car. While we waited we sat around the new pool and learned from employees about the birds and howler monkees we could hear. These people are awesome and that's why we always try to pay a visit each year when we come to Belize. "
