The grounds are just wonderful and the view of San Juan at night is impeccable. We are from Florida and this was our first time in Puerto Rico, and the family completely met our visions of how this vacation would go. "The Serene House lives up to its name - it is truly a serene and relaxing place! The property itself is stunning, with views of the ocean from atop a lush hillside; the surrounding forest creates a quiet retreat for guests. "The property is amazing with great views and unique experience up in the rainforest. It is secluded and provides an eco experience. The roads up to the lodging are a little more challenging but we had a 4x4 vehicle and made it even with heavy rain. The hotel is currently partially under renovations but the host is very nice and try to ensure an enjoyable experience. Don't go into it thinking its a 5 star resort but rather an off-the-beaten-path experience."
